This is an online component which is essential in the technological world that we live in today. Data driven instruction is the goal that we are set to achieve here. It allows teachers to tailor instruction based on individual student needs, identify learning gaps, and monitor progress effectively. Furthermore, it enhances teacher effectiveness by providing timely feedback and promoting collaboration with the student. It has been proven time after time that when a student (no matter how young) is given a role in their own education, it increases accountability and allows students to take control.

IXL is an online program that allows us to given students a diagnostic test that will given us the data we need to see where exactly they are in their understanding and on what grade level they are on. After taking their diagnostic assessment, this program will automatically assemble lessons that meet them at the level they are currently on so that they can grow from there at their own individual pace. We as educators will also have the ability to assign students specific lessons, monitor student’s progress,

IXL’s lessons and practice also line up with MS State Standards providing students with the skills they need to transition into any MS public school more smoothly if the situation arises.
